Uzbekistan Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Delegation Visited SRIBS Group
On October 15, a delegation from the Uzbekistan Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, led by Odilov Sherzod Kakharmonovich, Director of the Construction Coordination Bureau, visited SRIBS and its subsidiary, Tianjin Engineering Consulting Company, for discussions and exchanges. Liu Yu, Executive Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce for Chinese Enterprises in Uzbekistan, Wang Jijie, Chairman of SRIBS, and Zhang Qiang, Marketing Director of SRIBS, were invited to attend the meeting.
Wang Jijie welcomed the Uzbekistan delegation and emphasized that recent meetings between the leaders of China and Uzbekistan have established a new era of all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership. As a state-owned enterprise, SRIBS aims to seize development opportunities, actively participate in the Belt and Road Initiative, and leverage its expertise to empower Uzbekistan’s construction efforts.
Director Odilov Sherzod Kakharmonovich highlighted the broad needs of Uzbekistan in new city development, infrastructure modernization, and industry regulation standardization under the Belt and Road Initiative. He expressed the hope to collaborate with leading Chinese construction enterprises like SRIBS to enhance exchanges in engineering services, technical regulations, and standardization.
SRIBS is a state-controlled publicly listed enterprise group. During this exchange, SRIBS showcased its strengths in three key areas: engineering consulting, inspection and testing, and technological innovation. The group has the ability to carry out systematic engineering consulting projects under various international standards. As a key participant in national standard-setting, SRIBS has experience and capabilities in major engineering projects, urban regional development management, and government think tank support, contributing to technological research and industrial transformation. In terms of international cooperation, SRIBS is a member of organizations such as CIB, CIOB, and ISIAQ, and collaborates with institutions like BRE, CSTB, and DENA. Its subsidiaries, including Engineering Consulting Company, and Inspection Company, have experience in overseas engineering consulting, testing, and certification, as well as providing green and low-carbon services.
